The main bolt on the convertible top bolt of the Mercedes A124 can break and cause considerable damage to the convertible top switch. Therefore, the top bolts should be exchanged on all A124 convertibles.
The convertible top bolt is not available from factory any more. We have sourced a German supplier who offer a replica of the OE bolt in a much higher Material quality.
We strongly recommend to change the bolts on both sides.
